Frequently Asked Questions

Which faucets are compatible with my washbasin?

Finding the right option depends equally on functional and aesthetic considerations. Relevant factors here are the specific requirements the fitting must meet and whether a deck-mounted or wall-mounted installation better suits your personal style.

Can I install bathroom faucets myself?

Choosing the right mounting method depends on the specific product you select. Deck-mounted bathroom faucets can be installed by the homeowner with sufficient DIY skills. However, for wall-mounted faucets, it is strongly recommended to consult a qualified plumber before ordering to ensure proper installation.

Manual operation vs. sensor

No washbasin is complete without a matching faucet. Given frequent use, it should not only be visually appealing but also meet the highest standards of functionality and durability. The Armatron range offers the perfect model for every need, crafted from robust materials and seamlessly integrated into your bathroom design. For example, self-closing mixer taps provide adjustable flow at the touch of a button, and you can manually adjust the temperature using a side-mounted steel dial. In contrast, an electronic stainless steel washbasin valve allows water to flow without any manual operation. The water only flows as long as a hand is within the active sensor range. The overflow time is individually adjustable, and a built-in mechanism prevents intentional water waste by automatically shutting off the flow after approximately 5 minutes. Whether you're looking for a cold water pillar tap, a single-lever mixer, or a sensor-activated valve, purchasing from Armatron is undoubtedly the right choice for your business.

Basin tap for freestanding or wall mounting

A deck-mounted faucet, unlike a wall-mounted faucet, is not installed directly into the wall but mounted on the washbasin. The advantage is that no major wall work is required, thus keeping costs manageable. With wall-mounted faucets, installing the supplying water lines can sometimes be challenging. Nevertheless, this option is worth considering, as the visual impact is considerable. Furthermore, wall mounting offers more freedom of movement at the basin, creating a more comfortable user experience. Wall-mounted washbasin faucets are ideal for kitchens and other work areas where a washbasin needs to fulfill a variety of functions. In the Armatron online shop, you'll find the perfect washbasin faucet for every desired function and design.
