Why do kindergartens need special washing facilities?

Children want to be independent. However, they can only achieve this if the facilities are adapted to their needs. Adult washbasins are too high and difficult for children to use. With a low washbasin, they can wash themselves without getting wet.

How high should the washing trough be installed?

A wash trough should be installed as low as possible so that even small children can easily use it. A height of 55 cm to 65 cm is recommended for children up to 6 years old. For younger children up to 3 years old, 50 cm is sufficient.
