Frequently Asked Questions

How does a sensor faucet work?

A sensor tap works contact-free via an infrared sensor. It detects when hands are under the fitting and dispenses water. When the hands are removed, the water flow stops automatically.

How much electricity does an electronic faucet use?

Electronic faucets are powered by mains adapters or batteries. In both cases, power consumption remains low. In battery operation, up to 350,000 switching impulses are possible before a change is due. Depending on usage, this corresponds to a service life of three to six years.

How does shipping work?

Quality and durability with our fittings

In addition to design, at Armatron, we place particular emphasis on quality. Faucets in public spaces are subjected to heavy use: high user frequency, wear and tear, and in some cases even vandalism. We therefore deliberately avoid cheap workmanship and plastic, as our products are designed to function reliably for years. For materials, we rely on brass and stainless steel, which combine stability and functionality with a timelessly elegant appearance. In addition, we thoroughly inspect every product to ensure it meets the high demands of the Swiss market. If you have any questions about choosing your faucet, we will be happy to advise you, free of charge and without obligation.
