Save water with modern shower elements

Water is a scarce resource for various reasons. Climate change is causing prolonged periods of drought without rain in some regions of Switzerland. This has jeopardized shipping on the Rhine, as water levels have dropped dramatically. Businesses, municipalities, and individuals alike are urged to conserve water. A modern shower panel guarantees significant water savings. Showering with the latest models is just as comfortable as your guests are used to, yet it's possible to save water with every shower. This not only protects the environment but also saves money. Therefore, investing in new shower elements is highly recommended for businesses.

Investing in a new shower panel - the advantages

Traditional showers have a water flow rate of 12-15 liters per minute. This is a common value that has long been considered standard for comfortable showering in swimming pools, businesses, campsites, and other public shower facilities. If you want to save water, such a high flow rate per minute is counterproductive. A modern shower unit operates with a flow rate of only six liters per minute. This allows you to save more than half of your water consumption with the installation. The investment pays for itself in a short time thanks to these enormous savings.

Minimal skin contact – an important contribution to hygiene

Saving water is a key principle of our time. But that's not all. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, hygiene in public spaces has become paramount. This is especially true for places where many people gather, including public showers. The modern shower panel is activated with a simple press of a button. It switches off automatically without any direct skin contact. This is a significant advantage not only in terms of hygiene: water savings are guaranteed with every shower. With a traditional shower element, the user has to turn off the water manually, which is often forgotten. The automatic shut-off without skin contact thus combines water conservation with high hygiene standards.

Preventing limescale buildup on the shower panel

Virtually all of Switzerland has a high calcium content in its water. This is harmless to health. However, faucets can quickly become clogged, often showing an unsightly white residue. A modern shower tray can prevent this by automatically draining the tray after each use. If you opt for the installation of such a shower tray, hard water will no longer be a problem. Since the water is automatically drained after every shower, the calcium is flushed away. It has no chance to build up and eventually clog the drains.

No power supply required

Our shower trays are available in various versions – mechanically self-closing or with a sensor. Mechanically self-closing shower trays, in particular, have the advantage of requiring no power supply and are therefore very cost-effective to operate. However, the sensor-equipped versions are also energy-efficient and require only a minimal amount of power. Furthermore, we use standard lithium batteries, which have a capacity of 3 to 6 years, depending on usage. After that, the batteries are recyclable!
