Frequently Asked Questions

How does an electric faucet work?

An electric faucet works without physical contact, using an infrared sensor. This sensor detects when hands are placed under the faucet and the faucet begins to dispense water. As soon as the hands are removed, the water flow is automatically stopped.

How much electricity does an electric faucet consume?

Electric faucets are powered by mains adapters or batteries. In both cases, power consumption is consistently low. For example, up to 350,000 switching cycles are possible with batteries before a change is necessary. Depending on usage intensity, this corresponds to a lifespan of 3 to 6 years.

How does shipping work?

Quality and durability with our fittings

Besides design, quality is of paramount importance to us at Armatron. Electric faucets in public spaces experience significant usage and are therefore subject to considerable wear and tear. They are exposed to high levels of wear and tear and, in some cases, even vandalism. We deliberately avoid cheap materials and plastics because our products are designed to function flawlessly for years. Therefore, we use brass and stainless steel for our electronic faucets, materials that combine stability and functionality with a timelessly elegant appearance. In addition, we rigorously test our products to ensure they meet the high standards of the Swiss market. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions; we would be happy to assist you in choosing your electric faucet.
