At what height should urinals be mounted?

Ideally, the mounting height should be adjusted to the height of the users, but this is often difficult to achieve. Therefore, a practical compromise must be found, as urinals in public restrooms are naturally used by men of varying heights. This compromise typically involves a height of 65 cm for the bottom edge of the urinal opening and approximately 89 cm for the top edge of the urinal.

Our urinal range includes a variety of models, all distinguished by their high functionality. Armatron offers urinals equipped with different technical features: The wall-mounted stainless steel urinal with integrated thermal control has the advantage that the flushing system only activates when the urinal is in use. The flush time is adjustable from 0.5 to 15.5 seconds, and it features an automatic hygiene flush after 6 hours of inactivity. The wall-mounted stainless steel urinal with integrated infrared control, on the other hand, reacts to a user within a range of up to 70 cm and a minimum dwell time of 7.5 seconds. The water flow starts as soon as the user leaves the detection zone. This model also features an automatic hygiene flush after 24 hours of non-use. Most of our models are available in a vandal-resistant version, which is highly advantageous in public spaces. For additional features, you can also order matching partitions for the urinal.
