Urinal troughs are the space-saving alternative to individual urinals for high-traffic washrooms – ideal for schools, stadiums, train stations, and event venues. At Armatron, you will find troughs in standard lengths from 600 to 2400 mm, wall-mounted or floor-standing, with or without integrated flush control.
Thermal or infrared control – the difference
Thermal control detects usage through changes in flow and automatically triggers a hygiene flush after 6 hours of non-use. Infrared control reacts to users within a range of 70 cm with a minimum dwell time of 7.5 seconds and automatically triggers a hygiene flush after 24 hours of inactivity. Both systems are available with a 6V battery or 24V mains operation, and the flush time is continuously adjustable from 0.5 to 15.5 seconds.
Without flush activation – for connection to existing systems
For projects with existing or separately planned flushing technology, Armatron offers urinal troughs without integrated flush activation – floor-standing or wall-mounted with a back panel, in the same standard lengths. Suitable flushing systems can be found under Flushing Systems.
Robust construction for continuous operation
All models are made of AISI 304 stainless steel (1.5 mm, side panels 2.0 mm) with a satin or matte brushed finish and are designed to be vandal-proof – intended for continuous use in public and semi-public facilities.
