Changing tables with antibiotic surface - the clever alternative to changing mats
Time and again, we receive enquiries that show that many parents want changing mats to match our changing tables. We have deliberately decided not to offer changing mats and have instead developed a changing table with an antibiotic surface. This overview shows why, for once, we are not following customer wishes in this respect.
Changing mats - the ideal gateway for germs
When using changing mats, cracks and holes can form on the surface, e.g. due to the movements of the child. This breaks through an important barrier and creates a gateway for harmful germs. In order not to impair the health of the child, we therefore advise against the use of changing mats in the public area from.
Changing mats also have a core made of strong foam rubber. Space-saving folding changing tables can no longer be closed with such a changing mat.
Changing tables with special surface and practical details
To ensure a high level of hygiene during nappy changing, our changing tables have antibiotic surfaces. This reduces the growth of germs such as bacteria, viruses and fungi. The
Surfaces are easy to clean and can be cleaned with warm water and washing-up liquid. If you use your own changing bag as a changing mat, you can hang it on the changing table when not in use. Our changing tables are also equipped with a practical dispenser that provides biodegradable and therefore extremely environmentally friendly disposable pads.
Safety - the be-all and end-all of our intelligent changing tables
Instead of regular use, we have designed our changing tables for temporary use - a solution that should make it easier for parents to change their baby if the worst comes to the worst. Even without a changing mat, the baby will not be harmed by using our changing tables.
Another important point in this context is the safety belts. In order to fulfil the revised European standard (EN), safety harnesses may no longer be fitted. Experts see the belts as a safety risk due to possible strangulation. The belts are still included in the scope of delivery. However, it is up to the operator to decide whether to fit them.
