Changing pads - yes or no?

Changing tables with antibiotic surface - the clever alternative to changing pads

Time and again we receive enquiries that indicate that many parents would like matching changing pads for our changing tables. We have deliberately decided not to offer changing pads and instead have developed a changing table with an antibiotic surface. This overview shows why we exceptionally do not follow the customer's wishes on this point.

Changing pads - the ideal gateway for germs

When using changing pads, it can happen - e.g. due to the child's movements - that cracks and holes appear on the surface. This breaks down an important barrier and creates a gateway for harmful germs. In order not to impair the health of the child, we therefore advise against the use of changing pads in the public sphere as of.

Furthermore, changing mats have a core made of strong foam rubber. Space-saving folding changing tables can no longer be closed with such a pad.

Changing tables with special surface and practical details

To ensure a high level of hygiene during nappy changing, our changing tables have antibiotic surfaces. This reduces the growth of germs such as bacteria, viruses and fungi. The

Surfaces are easy to clean and can be washed with warm water plus detergent. Those who use their own changing bag as a pad can hang it up on the changing table when not in use. Furthermore, our changing tables are equipped with a practical dispenser that provides biodegradable and thus extremely environmentally friendly disposable pads.

Safety - the be-all and end-all of our intelligent changing tables

Instead of regular use, we have designed our changing tables for temporary use - a solution to make it easier for parents to change the baby if the worst comes to the worst. Even without a changing mat, the baby will not be harmed by using our changing tables.

Another important point in this context are the safety belts. In order to comply with the revised European Standard (EN), the safety belts may no longer be fitted. Experts see a safety risk in the belts because of possible strangulation. The belts are still included in the delivery. However, the possible installation is left to the operator.
